It is next to impossible to get a picture of Gus. He is part rat terrier and part chihuahua – so he very rarely sits still- unless he is sleeping. So I snapped 24 blurry pictures in an attempt to get this one 1/2 blurred non- sleeping Gus picture. Don’t you just want to squeeze that face???
This is the photo of the day I adopted Super G, the wonder pup. Gus is my very first dog in my adult life. I had no idea how much I was going to adore this silly and fabulous pup when I adopted him. I was so afraid of the commitment, that I actually ask my lovely dog-loving friends, Mel and Kerry, to promise that they would take him if I suddenly woke up in a week and decided I had gotten in way over my commitment phobe head. Assuring me that I would both love the dog and wouldn’t want to give him up – as well as promising they would adopt him if I needed an escape hatch – I signed on the dotted adoption line. I am happy to report that I adore the wonder pup and take him everywhere I go. Yes, I have now become that girl. Thank God he doesn’t fit into a purse or I would need to be committed.
